Writing your TLEF & OER Fund Evaluation Section: TLEF & OER Fund Application Preparation and Consultation

Event Date & Time

  • October 24, 2023
    10:00 am - 11:00 am

Event Description

Project evaluation allows you to understand what is and isn’t working with your project and which areas may need more attention. Ongoing and iterative evaluation will help you to improve project design and implementation, make informed decisions, identify ways to sustain your project after closure, and ultimately reach your intended goals.

The CTLT Research & Evaluation team is offering a short info session with tips and suggestions for writing your TLEF or OER Fund evaluation section to ensure your evaluation plan:

  • aligns with each of the impacts/benefits you’ve listed (under the Project Impact section of your proposal),
  • includes appropriate measures for ensuring those impacts are being achieved,
  • is appropriately scoped to the timeframe of the TLEF project.

Following the presentation, there will be time to ask questions about your specific project evaluation plan. If you have other people on your team who are supporting the evaluation work in your project, including Graduate Research Assistants, please extend this invite to them.

Please note: This session is specific to planning evaluation of your proposed TLEF or OER Fund project. If you would like to consult on your TLEF or OER Fund project more broadly, please attend one of our TLEF-OER Fund Online Proposal Consultation Sessions.
