Event Date & Time

Event Description

This is an online event.

The return to the classroom has presented many opportunities and challenges for the design and delivery of hybrid and multi-access courses. Audiovisual and learning technologies, along with successes discovered/established, during the period of remote teaching, have offered new options and flexibility.  These affordances have also raised many questions.  What does hybrid or multi-access teaching and learning mean?  What are some of the concerns, challenges and/or best practices for implementing these delivery modes into your course? What wicked questions have emerged as you explore hybrid and multi-access modes of delivery in your practice?

In this collaborative/participatory/discussion-based session, you will have the opportunity to share your wicked questions about hybrid and multi-access course design with practitioners who are also implementing or exploring opportunities for this in their curriculum.

Together, we will consider some common challenges, emerging best practices and new ideas in hybrid and multi-access course design that will inform future sessions on this topic.

Who is this for?

This session is intended for UBC educators and staff who have used, supported or are interested in exploring hybrid or multi-access modes of course delivery for their course.
