This event is part of the 2024 Celebrate Learning Week, taking place from May 6–10, 2024.

Join us as UBC leaders in teaching and learning, technology, and academic integrity, look back at how they navigated the sudden shift in how we work, learn, and teach, and discuss what is next to come.

Panelists will reflect on how AI has challenged them personally and professionally, and its impacts at UBC and as a society, as we ask them:

  • What were the greatest leadership challenges as GenAI emerged?
  • What was the most surprising?
  • What was the most concerning?
  • Where do you hope things go next?
  • Where do you fear things might go next?
  • What is your vision for the new educational horizon?
