One of the ways in which instructors can start developing their capacity around equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is to know how questions or concerns around EDI may show up in different teaching and learning settings, and to think through issues in question and things to take into consideration in responding to each instance.

This workshop offers a wide range of case studies that address EDI-related issues at different stages of teaching – including course design, teaching in the classroom and other settings (e.g., fieldwork, group work), and assessment.

Participants select the case study topics that they would like to discuss, and they share their analyses, questions, and strategies for each case scenario.
