Series: Online Open Education
Event Date & Time
Event Description
Are you working on an OER Fund project or developing and incorporating open educational resources (OER) into your teaching and learning? Join us for a discussion about how to design or adapt OER so they are more accessible for all learners. We’ll start with a demonstration of different content styles and formats, explore how layout/format choices affect different users, and discuss how simple choices made in the planning phase can make big improvements for the accessibility of those resources.
Facilitators:
- AC Deger, OER Support Pilot Strategist, UBC Centre for Accessibility
- Will Engle, Strategist, Open Education Initiatives, CTLT
