The Students as Partners (SaP) initiative at UBC is excited to host Checking the Pulse of Your Student–Faculty Partnership, a virtual event for SaP project teams to come together in reflective dialogue on their respective partnership experiences. While SaP encourages teams to focus on partnership as an experience, project teams may find that their focus on partnership shifts to the work required to complete their course redesign projects. As such, our spring cohort event gives student and faculty peer groups an opportunity to return to partnership as a central tenet of the SaP project experience and: (1) reflect on how their partnership has been going and how they might navigate their partnership moving forward; (2) share strategies to develop strong and meaningful partnerships throughout their projects.
