Series: Online Open Education
Event Date & Time
Event Description
Are you working on an OER Fund project or developing and incorporating open educational resources (OER) into your teaching and learning? Join us for a discussion about how to design or adapt OER so they are more accessible for all learners.
In this session on making OER content accessible, we’ll focus on complex content formats and explore how to make sure all learners can engage with the data they need in tables, charts, and infographics. We’ll also explore accessibility when creating video and audio based OER; working with LaTeX, H5P, and other third-party tools.
Facilitators:
- AC Deger, OER Support Pilot Strategist, UBC Centre for Accessibility
- Will Engle, Strategist, Open Education Initiatives, CTLT
