Using LOCR (Library Online Course Reserves) to Customize Student Reading Lists

Series: CTLT Institute

Event Date & Time

  • December 4, 2018
    11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Event Description

This session is for instructors and instructional support staff who may already be using LOCR, or are interested in learning more. This is an opportunity to bring together Library specialists who represent every piece of the LOCR service from copyright and permissions to frontend and backend LOCR support.

The first half of the session will be a quick overview of the system including how it mitigates copyright concerns and the benefits to students – including potential cost savings – and faculty. It will also include a short demonstration of the platform, including how to make a request and how materials are made available to students.

The second half of the session will be open to one-on-one support for anyone who requires additional support in using the service. People are encouraged to bring laptops if they need this dedicated support.
