9:30 am – 10:30 am – UBC Studios Tour/Info Session
This hands-on studio tour will introduce you to the educational media support services available at UBC Studios for all UBC faculty and staff. The Tour/Info Session will begin with a short presentation / Q&A session. Our staff will then guide you through a hands-on tour of the services at the Studio:

• Professional Video Production
• Graphics and Print
• DIY Audio Recording Suite
• Lightboard Studio
• One Button Studio and DIY Video Desk

10:30 am – 12 pm – Lightboard Best Practices Session
UBC Studios Faculty in Residence Dr. Matthew Yedlin is a professor from Electrical Engineering that has pushed the boundaries and redefined learning in a university. In this session, you will learn about the Lightboard, how it works, and unique ways to use this tool in order to present your information in clear and engaging ways that encourage student learning.
