Event Description

Pillar: Transformative Learning

Evaluating a teaching and learning enhancement project is a challenging endeavour. What are appropriate goals for evaluation, and what approaches can achieve these? What claims can be made regarding the success of the project, and what evidence can back these up?

In this hands-on workshop you will develop a practical and detailed evaluation plan for your TLEF project. We will introduce a useful evaluation framework, discuss ethics guidelines, and identify milestones, opportunities, and challenges. We will also have a team of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Specialists who will work with you to design your plan, building off your disciplinary and pedagogical expertise.
