Series: CTLT Institute
Event Date & Time
Event Description
While technology can provide an powerful ‘lever’ that allows you to implement a wide array of pedagogically-sound learning activities and can help you accomplish many of the things you’ve always wanted to do in the classroom but haven’t been able to implement – using technology purely as a gadget because the technology is available does not guarantee a successful learning experience. In this interactive workshop, you will have the opportunity to familiarize with various teaching technologies on offer at UBC. We will engage in the process of establishing key pedagogical principles to help us in selecting the most appropriate technological tool to support student learning and experiences.
This is a hands-on session, please make sure to bring a laptop.
