Student Peer Assessment Tools at UBC: Exploring current opportunities and constraints

Series: CTLT Institute

Event Date & Time

  • August 23, 2019
    11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Event Description

If you are keen to implement student peer assessment but are uncertain about the technology choices available—or would like to provide feedback on those you have used—please join us at this session.

During the first hour, we will provide a short overview with faculty examples of different student peer assessment tools, and you will engage in a discussion about the current opportunities and constraints around implementing student peer assessment at UBC.

In the last half-hour, light lunch will be provided, along with a chance to a) receive individualized help planning your use of student peer assessment or b) give your opinion on the broader direction of student peer assessment at UBC. All feedback provided will tie into a larger initiative assessing the state of student peer assessment technology at UBC.

Whether you have been using student peer assessment for some time, or are contemplating using it for the first time, all are welcome at this session!
