Event Date & Time

  • November 25, 2019
    3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Event Description

The cross-campus working group on Student Evaluations of Teaching, co-chaired by Dan Pratt (Emeritus Professor of Education and Senior Scholar, CHES at UBC Vancouver) and Peter Arthur (Professor of Teaching, Okanagan School of Education at UBC Okanagan), is hosting an open forum on student evaluations of teaching on November 25, 3-5pm in Woodward IRC Room 5 at UBC Vancouver.

This event is open to all UBC students, staff and faculty, and will include a brief introduction to the working group’s mandate and what has been done so far, as well as a panel discussion by some of the members of the working group. Then we will open the floor for questions, comments, and broader discussion on the group’s emerging recommendations.

This is the first of several opportunities for the UBC community to provide input on the work of the group, so if you are not able to make this event there will be other ways for you engage before the group submits their recommendations to both UBC Senates by May of 2020.

Drop-ins are welcome.
