In this workshop, we focus on Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault. The workshop would begin by covering the legal landscape on sexual assault, consent, and law. We would then focus on responding to disclosures of sexual assault, trauma-informed responses, barriers to disclosure, and goals of responding. Lastly, we would do some scenario training to practice our skills. I will lead the workshop with either one of our outreach workers or outreach volunteers as a co-facilitator.
