Event Description

Do you have an idea for how to improve a student’s learning experience or reach new student audiences through online learning? Would you like support making this idea a reality? Faculty are invited to attend this consultation session to learn about the Online Learning Advancement Fund (OLAF), created in 2019 to support the development of online cohort-based learning opportunities, either credit or non-credit. Modelled after the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund, OLAF was launched as part of the University’s commitment to transformative learning set out in the UBC Strategic Plan.

UBC Extended Learning, in collaboration with CTLT, is hosting an information and Q & A session for prospective OLAF applicants. You can find out more about the process, criteria, deadlines and available support. The OLAF team, comprised of Extended Learning and CTLT staff, have backgrounds in new program development, market research analysis, business and budget planning, marketing, project management, curriculum and course design, learning technology and media design.
