Series: Open Education

Event Date & Time

  • November 28, 2019
    1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Event Description

Beginning in September, CTLT and Faculty support units will be hosting a series of drop-in sessions to help applicants in the development of their Open Educational Resource (OER) Fund project proposals. Applicants can drop in to any of these sessions to talk about their project ideas and receive feedback and advice on topics such as OER evaluation, open resource design, open licensure (Creative Commons), project scope, and budget development. CTLT staff with a background in educational development as well as instructional and media design will be available. The sessions also provide an opportunity to connect with Faculty-based units and the UBC Library ensuring that applicants can access support to develop effective and detailed OER Fund proposals, with accurate project scope, budget information, and evaluation strategies.
