Expanding the motivational strategies repertoire in higher education

Drawing upon the current research, this session focuses on how the construct of learner motivation can be actualized in a university setting. The issues and implications for motivational teaching will be addressed and viable strategies will be offered to expand teaching repertoires.

About the Facilitator:

Shahid Abrar-ul-Hassan has been a classroom practitioner, academic researcher, and teacher development facilitator in higher education settings for over two decades in many countries. He currently teaches at UBC Faculty of Education and works as an official ESOL examiner.
