Pillar: Transformative Learning

Come learn about how to evaluate and assess community engaged learning courses and glean insights into the experience of an UBC instructor on his developed assessment tools. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a group exercise to generate challenges and best strategies to evaluate CEL courses!

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
• Value the importance of evaluating different components in community engaged learning courses
• Be aware of the existing tools for assessment and a range of offerings and pathways to evaluation support
• Reflect on their own way of evaluation and generate a list of challenges and best practices for evaluating CEL courses
