We highly encourage you to visit the Emerging Media Lab Drop-In sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12-1:30pm to explore the different technologies on offer – virtual reality, augmented reality, and 360 videos – before attending this session.
This orientation introduces the available tools and resources at the Emerging Media Lab, including an overview of the current virtual and augmented reality projects, in-depth discussions on the educational applications of each technology, and how you can get involved in experimenting with these technologies in your classrooms.
Tools that will be introduced includes the Microsoft Hololens, HTC Vive, 360-degree videos, and other VR/AR equipment.
