Event Description
This session aims to increase proficiency with the lesson planning process. We will discuss a variety of lesson planning frameworks that can be employed in a number of educational contexts. This session will address alignment between lesson plans, learning objectives and course assessment. You will get a chance to evaluate sample lesson plans and then design your own lesson plans based on learning objectives from your teaching context.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
– Ensure alignment between lesson activities based on your course learning objectives and/or planned assessment
– Use a lesson framework to develop a lesson plan that is suitable for your context
