UBC is adding edX to the “evolving ecosystem of learning technology platforms, tools and applications on campus”. edX can be used to provide a blended learning experience for campus-based courses, as well as UBC online and distance courses. In each of these sessions we will be highlighting a tool or functionality of the edX Edge platform and then providing you with a space for hands-on work and guided support
The session is geared towards those in the UBC Community using edX in online or blended learning. Attendees will leave the studio session with helpful resources, best practices, and practical suggestions for implementing this platform.
In this session, we will explore UBC’s Response Map and how it’s being used as an engagement activity that’s gradable in Climate1X. In addition, you will also be able to chose from a variety of activities to broaden your edX experience.
