UBC is adding edX to the “evolving ecosystem of learning technology platforms, tools and applications on campus”. edX can be used to provide a blended learning experience for campus-based courses, as well as UBC online and distance courses. In each of these sessions we will be highlighting a tool or functionality of the edX Edge platform and then providing you with a space for hands-on work and guided support
In this session, we will explore how to integrate EdX content into your Connect course using a new LTI (learning tool interoperability). This LTI allows instructors to embed content, problem types, videos etc from Edge courses into Connect courses. When this is enabled in a course, marks from gradable content are passed back to Connect from edX Edge to the Connect Grade Center. In addition, you will also be able to chose from a variety of activities to broaden your edX experience.
