Series: CTLT Institute
Event Date & Time
Event Description
Creating research assignments for your course can be more difficult than expected. Many undergraduate students have yet to develop the necessary research skills or tool awareness to understand the expectations of a research assignment. While the library is an excellent source of support for your students when beginning their research, the library can also collaborate with faculty to co-develop assignments, tutorials, and workshops that will support students successfully navigating the research process. This session will review the major stumbling blocks for students when engaging with research assignments and provide the necessary tools to design assignments that are reflective of undergraduate student skill levels.
