This event is part of the 2025 Celebrate Learning Week, taking place from May 5–9, 2025.

Managing assessments in large enrolment classes can be challenging, especially if you’re used to teaching smaller enrolment courses. In this Course Design Studio, we will share the strategies and tips for effective and manageable assessment in large enrolment classes. We will share examples of assessments designed for large enrolment courses that promote student engagement, maintain high academic standards, and address challenges like academic integrity and GenAI usage. Participants will leave with practical, time saving tips such as automating grading, redesigning paper assignments, incorporating peer assessment, redesigning assessment with GenAI, and more. Course Design Studio sessions are designed to provide practical strategies for anyone involved in designing courses and learning experiences.
