Event Date & Time
Event Description
In-person
This event is part of the Contract Faculty Community of Practice’s Thrive Program. View other upcoming sessions below.
This session will be focused on a presentation by Lauren Lee and Janet McHugh (HR) on the extensive wellbeing resources and benefits available to UBC faculty. This 1-hour presentation will leave plenty of time for questions and discussions. As contract faculty, we tend to face extra challenges with heavy teaching loads and other challenges. We hope to support each other in these sessions by listening to each other in a safe space, by exchanging ideas, and by learning about different wellbeing practices and resources. Please use this opportunity to find out about the many programs and services that can help to support all faculty at UBC-V.
Coffee and tea will be available – please feel free to bring your lunch to the session.
Facilitators:
