Event Description

Open Education Week (“OE Week”) is an international celebration of the global Open Education Movement and its goal is to raise awareness about the movement and its impact on teaching and learning worldwide. Join the UBC Library and CTLT this March 2025 for many different workshops and opportunities to actively share and learn about the ongoing developments and trends in Open Education.

UBC OER Project Virtual Showcase and Poster Session

The UBC OER Project Showcase will celebrate the innovative work of UBC faculty, students, and staff who have developed open educational resources (OER) projects. The use of OER helps support affordable and inclusive access to learning materials and can allow instructors to provide meaningful, contextualized resources for their students. During this virtual showcase, project teams will present posters about their OER projects.

Panel: How Far Have We Come? – The Canadian National Open Education Landscape
