Faculty Accessibility Resources

Work Sustainably: Faculty Accessibility Resources” is a recurring faculty series that explores how accessibility can support more flexible, sustainable, and responsive ways of working, teaching, learning, and researching. This series presents accessibility as both a resource and a practice that can benefit everyone. By expanding the ways we interact with information, technology, and one another, accessibility opens options, creates flexibility, and helps us adapt our work to our strengths, contexts, and changing needs.

What to Expect:

  • A 30-minute bite-size presentation (show-and-tell), and
  • An optional 30-minute discussion and exploration period, providing opportunities for further questions, collective experimentation, resource-sharing, and community-building.

Accessibility offers multiple pathways for engaging with information and contributing knowledge. Whether used to reduce barriers, support different working styles, manage fluctuating capacity, enhance productivity, or increase flexibility, accessibility can provide tools and practices that help faculty build approaches that are both effective and sustainable.
