Are you looking for ways to help students study effectively? Students engage with course materials in many different ways during and outside of class time. While some have well-developed study strategies, others may benefit from more structured guidance and resources. In this session, we’ll explore practical ways to support students’ independent learning beyond the classroom. Topics include using H5P and GenAI for efficiently creating formative quizzes and developing multi-format study aids with NotebookLM. We’ll also discuss how to help students use GenAI tools responsibly and effectively to support their learning.
Course Design Studio sessions are designed to provide practical strategies for anyone involved in designing courses and learning experiences. They include a brief, high-level overview of the topic, step-by-step instructions on the specific tools mentioned, and dedicated time for both questions and hands-on, personalized support.
