This event is part of the 2024 Celebrate Learning Week, taking place from May 6–10, 2024.

Join the UBCO Educators and Facilitators Community of Practice to develop community and support and discuss the unique needs of educators and facilitators in higher education. For the context of this retreat educators and facilitators are those who teach or lead workshops, sessions, or classes that are outside of the academic calendar such as full-term courses. In this retreat, we will be focusing on the common challenges faced by teaching single sessions and working in small groups to discuss, brainstorm, and problem-solve solutions to provide support. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided. Lunch will start at 12:30 and folks are welcome to leave early to attend other Celebrate Learning Week events. Coffee starts at 8:30 with the retreat starting at 9 am.
