Event Date & Time
Event Description
Are you conducting Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research (such as evaluation of a teaching method) and not sure if you need to apply for ethics approval before you collect your data? Come to our Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (SoTL CoP) session on understanding ethics to 1) determine if and when you need formal ethics approval and 2) how to conduct research ethically regardless of whether or not you need formal ethics approval. This session will be lead by Jean Ruiz, Senior Behavioral Research Ethics Analyst and Wendy Bond, Research Ethics Coordinator, Compliance.
Please note that this event will be held back-to-back with another preceding event. A waiting area is available, but we ask guests to arrive on-time (rather than early) to avoid congestion.
