UBC is adding edX to the “evolving ecosystem of learning technology platforms, tools and applications on campus”. edX can be used to provide a blended learning experience for campus-based courses, as well as UBC online and distance courses. In each of these sessions we will be highlighting a tool or functionality of the edX Edge platform and then provide you with a space for hands-on work and guided support.
In this session, we will explore how to create a course using edX’s web-authoring tool Studio. We will explore such topics as structural hierarchy of an edX course, managing content publishing, and controlling content visibility.

T-BLE is a short, immersive blended course aimed at instructors who are already teaching in the classroom and are considering moving to a blended environment. The course runs for six weeks and is delivered in a blended format – a combination of online and face-to-face sessions.
