Event Description

This session is an informative and collaborative event between CTLT and UBC Studios! If you are a UBC instructor or staff and interested in learning about the process and procedures for video or media production for your online or face-to-face courses at UBC, this session is for you!  In this session you will also learn about:

  1. The process and procedures of making video/animation/media production for your online, blended or face-to-face courses available at UBC.
  2. The UBC video and presentation hosting server and website (MediaSite) and its services available for UBC community.
  3. Working with an interesting new learning technology at UBC, called the Lightboard which is currently free for use to all UBC faculty and staff (including its all free studio services).  In this session, you can also try working with the lightboard, record a short video for your course using it, and then take your lightboard recording as  souvenir!
