Event Description

The Open Badges Studio is a collaboration space for participants to work together on Open Badges projects, offering a mix of theory, hands-on exploration and experimentation. Within the framework of your project, we will discuss such topics as storyboarding badge pathways, considerations and criteria for types of badges, and triggering badges with assessments. We will also explore badge case studies and technical considerations in badge design, specifically looking at UBC’s WordPress and Connect systems.  The innovative studio model brings together knowledgeable learning technology support staff, instructional designers, and current badge implementers, to offer support within the Open Badges Pilot Project.

NOTE: Please bring your own computer. We will, however, have a limited number of computers on hand.
