Series: CTLT Institute
Event Date & Time
Event Description
As you design or redesign your course, have you considered what you intend your students should take away from your course? What they should be able to know/do/feel by the end? Have you considered how these larger goals can be broken down into smaller objectives that can be addressed within each class of the course? If you are interested in exploring these questions and in developing or refining your course goals and learning objectives, we invite you to join this workshop. In this interactive workshop, we will explore course goals and learning objectives including: what they are, how to create them, and their relationship to learning activities, evaluation, and assessment practices. Participants will have the opportunity to work individually and in small groups to develop or refine course goals and learning objectives for courses that they may be teaching in the coming year.
