Considering Digital Literacies

Event Date & Time

  • August 30, 2017
    1:00 pm - 2:15 pm

Event Description

Students are increasingly makers, collaborators and contributors in the digital knowledge economy.  The skills, competencies and decisions required in this context extend beyond knowing “how” to use a particular tool or approach to “why?” and “when?” and even how to engage with communities where rules, practices and culture may be unfamiliar.  Join us for a discussion (and examples) of how meaningful learning opportunities and teamwork can facilitate the development of such digital literacies.

Facilitators: Cindy Underhill + Kathryn Grafton
