Event Description
Discussion is a valuable -and often inevitable- platform for engaging students in active learning of the course material. In this session we will discuss the advantages and challenges of using discussion as a teaching technique. We will then proceed to discussing and practicing some specific techniques and strategies that can be used to lead discussions in small as well as larger classrooms.
