2026 Teaching Development Program for New Faculty

The Teaching Development Program for New Faculty (the “TDP”) supports instructors at the UBC Vancouver campus in their professional growth. Designed for new UBC instructors who teach credit courses, the TDP is ideal for individuals who are excited to grow and connect with other educators in a supportive space. This flexible program seamlessly balances online and in-person elements, providing multiple pathways to completion to comfortably accommodate early-career instructors.

For colleagues accepted into the upcoming cohort, we warmly welcome you to join us on-campus for our collective program launch!

Because this initial session sets the foundational framework for your growth timeline and reviews core completion pathways, attendance is expected for all accepted participants. It offers an intentional space to dive into requirements, ask technical questions, and begin collaborating with peer educators across campus fields. A light lunch will be served.
