Eligibility
The TA Institute is open to undergraduate and graduate TAs, and all graduate students who are interested in teaching. This session is not open to staff, or faculty.
Event Description:
How can creativity and reflection deepen learning and make classroom experiences more meaningful? In this session, we will explore the role of experiential learning as a foundation for designing creative classroom activities and assessments.
Participants will examine how creative assignments and reflective tasks can foster affective connections to course material, support student ownership of learning, and encourage critical thinking. Through examples, discussion, and hands-on design exercises, participants will consider how to integrate reflective and creative practices into the TA role.
