Event Description

The UBC Wiki is an excellent tool for managing, creating, and sharing content. You can also use it for a wide range of activities: from enabling student collaboration and hosting online discussions to exporting ebooks and more. The possibilities are endless and how you use the Wiki is really up to you. 

Drop by the design studio to learn about these new wiki.ubc.ca features and explore aspects of editing such as assignments that support open pedagogies, wiki-based course and page set up and organization, collaboration strategies, wiki editing, and content distribution. 

There will also be 4 x 15 minute Quick Tip sessions:

  • Wiki course design – 1:30pm
  • New visual editor – 2:00pm
  • Uploading and embedding media (video and images) – 2:30pm
  • Info box – 3:15pm

Bring your current projects, questions, or ideas to develop and work one-one-one with CTLT staff.  No experience necessary!
