The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (SoTL CoP) is pleased to present the first in a series of sessions designed to help educators interested in developing a program of research in SoTL.  In this first workshop we will examine current trends in SoTL and explore a variety of examples and opportunities to help you situate your own project in the field.  The goals of this session are to get participants to think about SoTL questions that are important in their own context and to begin developing a plan for their work.  The session will be co-facilitated by Simon Albon, Professor of Teaching and Director of the Office of Educational Support and Development and Adriana Briseno-Garzon, Manager of Learning Evaluation and Research, Center for Teaching Learning and Technology.
