Evaluating the impact of your Work Integrated Learning project, that is supported by the Ministry of Advanced Education funding, can be a challenging endeavour, and choosing the right approaches and tools is key to obtaining the evidence needed to assess the outcomes and impacts of your project. What are appropriate goals for evaluation, and what approaches can achieve these? What claims can be made regarding the success of the project, and what evidence can back these up?

In this interactive virtual workshop, you will develop a practical and detailed evaluation plan for your project. We will introduce a useful evaluation framework, provide an overview of commonly used data collection methods (e.g., surveys, focus groups and interviews), and help you in identifying project milestones, opportunities, and challenges. We will also provide relevant information on best practices for common data collection methods such as surveys and focus groups.
