Flexible Assessment, offering students some flexibility on how their learning is assessed, is more than a grading strategy. It centers student voice and fosters inclusive learning environments. In this session, we will walk through how we have used this Canvas-integrated tool to offer students choice in how they are assessed, while maintaining academic integrity and clarity, in large classes. We will also explore setup options, boundaries, and student feedback. Participants will engage in a live design activity and leave with a flexible scheme they can adapt to their own course.
