Join us for a no-prep, info-gathering session that will support the development of academic integrity resources for UBC faculty and staff and our term 2 online teaching term. Help us help you! Tell us what particular challenges you’re facing with students’ knowledge gaps, grey areas of policy and practice, and academic dishonesty. What do your students not know, and need to (better) understand? What do you not know or wish you better understood? What support, tools, or information do you need to teach academic integrity in your courses, OR to follow UBC’s policies and procedures?

All participants to this workshop will receive a quick guide to existing resources on fostering academic integrity in their courses, as well as the additional materials we develop in response to the priority areas you identify.

Facilitators:

  • Laurie McNeill, Professor of Teaching, English Language and Literatures; and Journalism, Writing, and Media
  • Catherine D. Rawn, Professor of Teaching, Psychology

Please ensure you have your own quiet space, a computer with a webcam and headphones or earbuds.
