Brightspace Exploratory Session for Faculty

UBC is piloting and evaluating two prospective learning management systems, Brightspace by D2L and Canvas by Instructure. In this session, you will get a hands-on introduction to Brightspace and contribute to the Learning Technology Environment Renewal project evaluation phase. The session will include a short presentation from a faculty member on the requirements identified by faculty and students so far, hands-on support and guidance for exploring tool functionalities and their potential for supporting teaching and learning, and an opportunity to give your feedback on the tool through group discussion.

Join us on February 1, 2017 to learn more about these tools, explore their functionality and potential uses in teaching and learning and to help inform the current evaluation.

These sessions are open to all instructors and faculty members at the University of British Columbia. Please bring your laptop with you to this session. Refreshments provided.
