The 2012 CTLT Summer Institute is a week-long event that includes a day-long Orientation to Teaching for faculty members new to teaching at UBC and a series of interactive sessions for the entire UBC teaching community. The Summer Institute focuses on fundamental teaching and learning issues and is designed to help participants enhance their understanding of sound teaching practices and provide them with a number of practical ideas they can implement in their teaching. The workshop topics range from refining a syllabus, lesson planning, to incorporating active learning and effective assessment in their teaching for different learning environments.
Please register for each individual session you are interested in participating in.
