The second workshop in this series - Building an Effective Student-Supervisor Relationship - will focus on establishing communication, discussing expectations, setting boundaries, addressing cross-cultural issues, and problem-solving/prevention techniques. Dr Cindy Prescott, Associate Dean in the Faculties of Forestry and Graduate Studies and Mr Joshua Caulkins, former Advocacy Coordinator with the Graduate Student Society will offer advice based on experiences in dealing with student-supervisor conflicts.
