This event is designed to introduce new faculty members and new staff to the structure and people of UBC. It provides an excellent opportunity to meet new colleagues from different departments as well as members of the senior administration and representatives from other units that will be important to faculty at the University. Jointly presented by CTLT and the Department of Human Resource, this half day orientation event will help you:
- learn about and effectively navigate UBC's resources and services
- understand UBC's organizational structure and current initiatives
- hear first-hand from colleagues on how to have a successful first year
- connect with peers and colleagues who are also new to UBC
A final reception hosted by the provosts office will close the event.
