We'll start with an overview of two sets of resources available at UBC - first,
we'll have an overview of the CTLT Resource Room and the Teaching and Learning
wiki. Next, Warren Code will introduce some of the resources available through the
Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative at UBC (http://cwsei.ubc.ca/).
Many of these resouces are focused on practical advice for the classroom
based on classroom research (in several cases, this includes research at
UBC), introduced in a brief, readable format. Other projects with free,
online resources will also be presented. Please come with at least one copy (virtual
or physical) of your favourite resource.
