At this first meeting of 2012, we will address the question, ‘How can we teach and learn for the heart and mind if it is not on the curriculum?’ We will hear examples from our members: one led a quilting project in peace building among youths and another attempted to incorporate heart and mind in her science lessons.
We will then share our past and existing connections to teaching and learning for the heart and mind and plan our next few meetings.
