When you feel comfortable using everything we've done in WordPress Basics I, you are welcome to join Basics II - this might be a couple of weeks later, or half a year - it really doesn't matter!  This hands-on workshop will take a look on how to effectively use widgets, plugins, custom menus, as well as how to embed content from external sites and backing-up your webspace.

Prerequisite: Word Press Basics I or a good basic knowledge of WordPress.

Facilitator: Lucas Wright

Lucas previously worked with the Teacher Education Office at the University, training and supporting faculty and teacher candidates in developing ePortfolios using the WordPress platform since 2007. He joined CTLT in 2010, where he assists and supports faculty and staff with the implementation of technology to support their teaching and learning.

Facilitator: Zack Lee

Zack supports the development of resources for the programs and services at CTLT, focusing on information design and architecture. He is interested in the intersection of individual participation, new forms of expression and technology.
